Our Vision: To see a world where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities.
Our Fantastic Friends program is a fun gathering to facilitate social interactions between adults with Down syndrome, their peers, and the community. It supports development of social skills and language through peer-to-peer interaction in a casual and fund setting. Adults ages 18 and up are welcome.
GiGi’s Playhouse Denver is the 55th Playhouse in the international network. We opened our doors on October 16, 2021, and could not be more thrilled to start serving families – and giving our community a place to serve!
Our 4,200 square foot space has been carefully thought out and designed to meet the different needs of our community, no matter your age. Here are just a few of our spotlight features:
A great room large enough to host group-based programs, meetings and even performances with our built-in sage
Learning labs for 1-on-1 tutoring in math and literacy skills
A fitness area where individuals of all ages can participate in GiGiFit classes to strengthen their bodies and minds
Club GiGi’s – a hang out space for our teens and adults with Down syndrome to form friendships and participate in social events including movie night, karaoke, billiards, arcade games and more.
Come stop by during office hours to take a look for yourself!
GiGi’s Playhouse Denver offers FREE educational, therapeutic, and career building programs to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. We offer a safe place where all are welcome, from pre-natal diagnosis to adults. Our goal is to empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families to reach their highest potential.
