Historical Park is on land that her family once owned from 1892 to 1937. The White Family home formerly known as the Red Brick house was built by her Great Grandparents Bert and Etta White in 1900-1910. Janet is a hostess at the Park once a month as well as a part-time
manager and guest service agent for the Wheat Ridge Recreation
Center. You can find her at the Center mornings Monday through
Thursday. You can find Janet on the Second and Fourth SATURDAY of the month at the Historical Park or the Baugh house.

The application period for the 2026 Community Partners Grant Program will open on June 1st and close on July 25th at 5PM.

The Aims and Purposes of the Wheat Ridge Historical Society are as follows:
To bring together people with a common interest in the history of Wheat Ridge, Colorado;
To locate and collect printed material and objects that illustrate conditions and events of the past and present;
To provide for the preservation of these and of historical monuments, buildings and sites;
To make available knowledge and information through museum displays, programs, lectures and publications;
To generally stimulate interest in, awareness of and appreciation of the history of our area and its impact upon the present and the future.
